How to rebuild 1000 :

First of all, move 2 1sts for a struggling winger that will command 7m+ next season.

... smh

soo many issues its too many to sort through. No way are we tradingBarron just why? I know we got more than expected but in what world would Florida move Reinhart for that awful package? Chicago is rebuilding not going to move one of their best young players for a year of drouin n allen and a late first. That Gaudreau is about 3-3.5 mil short....
I will stop there.

Congrats on the first post!

I’m not going to comment on the rest of it, but I can tell you that Columbus isn’t going to give you a 2nd round pick or any pick for the luxury of taking Weber’s contract, because he’s likely never going to play again. If anything the 2nd (and more) should be going the other way for Columbus to relieve Montreal of the contract.

Welcome to CapFriendly! Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

Alex DeBrincat won't be traded, but if he were, he would get a Jack-Eichel-like return which, if applied to your team, would mean at least one of Caufield, Suzuki or your own 2022 first. That package is barely enough to get Travis Konecny.
