Detroit doesn't want Petry for free and we're certainly not downgrading Hronek to replace him with 34 year old redeye. Insanely hard pass.

If Montreal would retain 2.5 million on petry I'd be interested but I don't want to move hronek to do it. We need to add to the d core and thus doesnt really do that. Its not bad value wise though.

The return for Detroit isn't going to get that done. The Dallas 1st would need to be headed to the Wings to move the needle. I like the idea of the three way trade between these teams though.
