I’m not certain what I can say about Rosy in the locker room, but his relationship with the coaching staff and front office has deteriorated to the point it feels concerning. Lars may be gone next year, but JD and Jarmo don’t look to be going anywhere.
With his play, it’s just the inconsistency. I don’t agree with Lars outright benching him the way he has (among many other decisions, particularly since this season is already a lost cause), but he too often has 5, 6, 7 game stretches where his play is a liability, then follows it up with 2, 3, 4 games where he is a world beater. We just gotta ask if the 2-4 games outweighs the 5-7 games, and I’m just not sure if that is the case.
Plus, I keep feeling like the team needs to throw in the towel and stop trying to make him a C. If he can play a consistently better game on the W, put him there. And if he has a problem with that and is still convinced he can turn the corner at 26 and be a C, then all the more reason to move on, IMO.
