Christ it’s tempting for CBJ, but Guds’ buy-out/burial fee is easier to swallow than Miller. I just really worry about how that contract is going to age.

Plus, Miller isn’t a certified Big Boy™️ like Guds.

That's a draft move if both teams get screwed by the lottery, but I would assume the Canucks say no. They can't trade Miller away right after signing him to that kind of extension without a ton of negative optics from the rest of the hockey world.

Columbus probably though its temping but at the end of the days its twice the pain with longer term and value. Not only that you have NMC in this hypothetical and I am sure CBJ front office also has intention of getting Gudbranson into Player Development at some point too.
