Wilson might not be worth that much to other teams in the trade market, but it would take more than that for the Caps to give him up. Like knock your socks off good, Multiple high firsts and a roster player good probably but I'm not GMBM

Theoretically, Arizona might momentarily entertain a Crouse-for-Brodie-and-Liljegren deal, but the 2x difference in the actual money next season ($9 million vs. $4.6 million) would probably discourage the impecunious Coyotes. The rest of that package wouldn't interest the Field House Dogs to part with #12 overall, especially since you wouldn't be acquiring the Washington second.
