Can’t see Tampa doing this, their D is extremely thin so I’m not sure they can afford to give up Perbix.

Also, since the Hawks currently hold Tampa’s top ten protected 1st round pick, why would they want to help them with their goalie situation unless it is a huge overpay? Let the Bolts struggle and watch the value of that pick increase.

Tampa Bay declines. They aren't trading Perbix for a short term goalie fix. And they aren't taking on a $1.9m cap hit for a back up goalie either.

idk man, part of the issue of our goalies not doing well is the defence struggling to adapt to a new system as well..
Moving Perbix and JoJo in exchange for Mrazek helps address one problem, but exposes the other that much more.

A goalie would be nice, but I'm not sure if a roster player is the price TB wants to pay.

Tampa is the last team in the league the Hawks (who hold their 1st rounder) should be helping. Let them flounder until Vasy gets back and hope in a tough division that pick ends up in the teens again.

Play with too much fire and the puck slides to next year if Tampa has injury struggles all year, then next year with more cap space and health they can reload and the pick drops?

Likely? No. Possible? Yes.
