You're insane. Philly is gonna give up their #2 overall pick who was great for the entire 2nd half of the season, as well as their #1 d-man who lead all d-men in goals, AND 2 firsts?

So i like karlsson enough but at this point hes a rental and he isn't getting you as much as you think. Yes he'll get a good amount but tone it down. The value ranges wildly from team to team

Teams that might not hang up straight away: NONE

In a sense, you did brilliant work: About 30 trades with ALL of them being a complete wreck nod

      No. You can't have Orpik.

I like the roster you've built, even if it is a bit over the cap,but Washington is not giving you Brooks Orpik in that deal. Sorry.

There aren't any trades here that are unfair ... actually, there's one team overpaying for Karlsson here ... actually, wait, no, 2. 3 actually. Actually 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Yeah, pretty much all of them are big overpayments.

At the risk of being "that guy," I think your best bet is to find another team with a surefire hall of famer it's not sure it can re-sign, either. Bonus points if they have two years left instead of one. For instance, and I know this makes the Caps a lot worse, but... https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/651764

i would give you some credit for trying but these trades are horrid each one of them karlsson is good but on a 1 year contract you are trying to take as much as if mcdavid was traded and even then its kind of pushing it.

EK is a great player but you are asking a lot for a one year player. I understand he could turn around most of these teams but if he leaves after one year, it could set back more of these teams for years.

Boston, Edmonton, NYI, and Philly are the best offers IMO.

I don’t think any player in the entire league not named McDavid could get that type of return especially considering he’s only got a year left.

Now if these were all sign and trades (which would never happen) it would make it slightly better but then still I don’t think half these teams are willing to give up all their futures for him.
