Not only Lucic, I don't want this fellow to see in Buffalo, plus he absolutely doesn't fit the current style of play.

Klef's injury past scares the hell out of me..... Sabres want no part of Lucic..... Cagguilla is interesting though.....

Good question...... I would give up a 3rd Round pick plus a mid level prospect for him.... I really like his game for Buffalo as his versatility would be ideal for the Sabres.... I think the Oilers should want to keep him due to his low cost.

Can anyone explain to me other then "lol Chiarelli" as to why the Oilers would trade a Top 4 damn (on their team) and former 1st round pick for a 4th line grinder?

As a Canucks fan I am not interested in Kassian for Leipsic. Leipsic is young and has upside, the canucks don't need a 3rd liner at the end of his prime, gotta rebuild

Don't see the Canucks trading Leipsic for former canucks kassian. Leipsic has shown decent upside after being trades from Vegas and i dought that he will get trades not too long after he was brought in.

I don’t see it happening

1) we want to get fast upfront, so even if we did like Lucic (which is hard to imagine with that contract), he’s just not a fit
Would definitely keep Okposo over him

2) Risto for Klefbom doesn’t make sense for us
He’s our only good RH defenseman- trading him would put Bogosian as our top RH guy, and he’s always hurt- so there’s just no way we’d move him for a LH defenseman
Only possible scenario would be if the + you guys add would be significant...
and no way a 2nd, 3rd, Caguilla (or any combo) would be enough to persuade us imo

Risto is better than klefbom, and has a distinct advantage in being right handed. Okposo has not impressed, but theres at least a glimmer of hope that he is healthy and maybe becomes an overpaid third liner. Lucic is spent. I have less hope of him coming back, and a second, third, and caggiula dont make this work for me.

I was sort of intrigued with this trade, but I really do not want Lucic on my team. He is a disgrace to the NHL.
