Who cares? Are people only supposed to make trades to teams that have been verified to have targeted a specific player by the "insiders"?

I get not wanting to see bad trades, those need to stop I agree but picking an choosing where they go? Damn man. There is going to be like 5 AGM's per day then... and at least two of them will probably be Troll posts...

Patches value has been drug through the mud for awhile now. Im not sure why, i guess 1 bad season erases 5 30 goal(6 if you pro rate he lockout, i believe) seasons that happened prior to that.

My problem is more with the people doing the Patch trades. They are pretty rough to look at because they think he is going to fetch a ridiculous return. Also... almost every team created on AGM is related to patch. It’s time to stop.

It's not that. It's that he's 30 years old and wants a long term contract 5 or 6 years and will demand $6M+. That's crazy for any team to take on as a 1 year rental and risk having to sign him till he's 37 for that kind of money.

That’s like saying When someone rumors McDavid getting traded everyone for the next 3 months will be making trades of McDavid to there team. It’s just super annoying.

I don't know what is in the water between Ottawa and Montreal.....a 90 mile distance, but these trades of Patches and Karlsson are generally really poor. And to top it off, can't think of a good trade, make it a "sign and trade" just to justify the the inflated value of the trade.

Tell me hows that any different than the returns that Rick Nash and Evander Kane got. Ive seen quite a few trades that are fair yet get dragged through the mud anyway by the other teams fans. Evander Kane signed for 7x7 and that brings him until he is 35. Patcioretty also wont turn 30 until we are well into the season so as it stands there is a 2 year gap between him and Kane, the return should be similar if not greater than Kane considering the points that they put up.

Its what happens when I'd say a quarter of the CF posters on here are Habs fans. Arizona would be no different but there's only a 1 maybe 2 on here.

All jokes aside, i get that the trades are bad, I agree and Im a Habs fan but blame the individuals, not the idea of Pacioretty going to Chicago. As if that is the worst thing that could ever happen. The guy is freaking stud. Any team would be lucky to have him. Just not at any price.

And? What else do we have to talk about? Not like there's any other pressing important happening in the NHL lately... aside from Skinner literally just now.

You know what I hate as much as all these bad Habs fans AGMs? All these other teams trying to pond Pacioretty off as a virtually valueless player now who they then immediately play on the top line of their teams.......Equally annoying.
