Might as well add Petersson and Boeser while you're at it

Well I don't recall taking boeser, edler, petterson, horvat, baerstchi, motte, demko, Hughes, joulevi, Lind, DiPietro, goldobin, or beagle

Edit: their best players are horvat, boeser and pettersson

Without even speaking about who wins the deal.. this type of trade is extremely unlikely! 5 guys from each team being moved has little to no chance of happening.

Calm down, it's not that unlikely, it happens at least 1-3 times a season

Most trades nowadays seem to be 1 for 1s, or something similar to this. I personally dont recall the last time 5 NHLers were moved for 5 other ones.. even 4 or 3 for that matter? Not trying to bash on your idea, just don't see trades like this too often anymore.

You're right, they have much more cap for now. And we don't even have all our early picks. It's ok though cause Pettersson is better wink
Offer sheet him for sure
We'll save our picks for him

Well just to mention a few trades from 2018; the karlsson trade, the Hossa trade, the JT Miller trade

The Karlsson trade was essentially a big piece player for multiple pieces back. Hossa trade sent 3 NHLers to Arizona in exchange for 1.. rest were AHL/unsigned. JT Miller one is a good example of two players going to one team for a pieces back. Most trades that involve multiple pieces going one way involve a big name player going the other way (like the Karlsson deal).. nothing like a 5 for 5 straight up. Although the Pens surely have interest in the guys you acquired, its hard to see it all happen in one deal like this. Just my opinion on it.

How in the hell is Vancouver getting robbed here? Lmao
I’d take Schultz over Tanev, Bjugstad and ZAR over Virtanen and Stetcher, Simon and Granlund are a wash except I’d rather take the cheaper player for cap reasons. The only swap that benefits the pens here is Wilson for Gaunce. And that’s only cause Gaunce is younger.

From a canucks perspective they are trading good pieces in Tanev Stecher and Virtanen which I wouldn't do. Tanev is vital for our future plans of playing with Hughes. And Stecher is a monster defensively I never see anyone out the effort he does. And I would never trade Virtanen unless someone was over paying bcuz Virtanen produces in the top 6 which canucks barely play him there. If another team trades for him they'll put him in the top 6 and he'll start putting up numbers. Lets not forget that he was on a 30 goal pace at the beginning before green demoted him to the bottom 6 to play with offensive black holes
