Marner - Aho swap...don’t pay attention to the Dougie addition.

Since so many think Marner has to get paid 11m and Aho only gets 8m....Leafs make that deal. Aho for Marner straight is a pretty fair deal.

Somebody overvalues Marner..Or undervalues Aho

I wouldn't mind the swap (I guess Caniac555 didn't pay attention to the Bracco addition either), one for one if needed. However, Aho should play with Tavares or Matthews.

This is why it's so important for Dubas to allow the good GM's set the market value, Marner's camp are laughing at Dubas for the Nylander and Matthews over payment. Once Aho, Laine, Rantanen and Point all sign for less than 10 million than Dubas can tell Marner's camp good luck finding a team to give them an OS @ 11 million; once the market value proves to be lower.

Carolina is left with Jordan Staal as their #1 C if Aho gets traded. Carolina doesn't accept.

Even if this happens, no way Aho signs with the Leafs. He'll come in from being 1C to 3W? Doubt it

There is absolutely no chance that the Leafs trade Marner. Dubas, Shanahan and Babcock will be run out of Toronto and all of them will be looking for a new team to work for if the Leafs trade Marner. He is a generational player and is actually better than McDavid and elevates the stats of anyone who plays with him. Dubas needs to wake up and pay Marner what he is worth and trade out some lesser players to make room for the Magician.
