3.2M is an excellent number. 1 year contract is interesting but there's no doubt Zadorov is worth the money. He's got to be one of the hardest hitters in the league.

I would have loved to lock him up long term at this number, or a little higher, but I think this deal is fine for now. Zadorov is physical as hell and any team would be fortunate to have him on their blue line.

1 year is interesting. If Im Zadorov I want to be with Colorado as long as possible. Could be Sakic either wants to trade his rights later or just have him prove himself this next year

What a bunch of suckers. Colorado could have had Jack Johnson for only 5,000 more. Sakic has lost his mind. Guy needs to be taken out back.

great deal for both. Zadorov gets his 1-Year deal so he can get a big payday next year. Colorado gets him at a rather low price.

I'm being serious. They probably could have gotten Johnson, rust, Jarry, and a first rounder and all they would have had to give up was a conditional 7th round pick. Sakic dropped the ball here.

Zadorov on this friendly deal could get them another good Player. Top 6 F or another Top 4 D-Man if need be.
