Who things I would change are the dermott contract and that you forgot puljujarvi. Puljujarvi has preformed well in blue and white before so he will surely do will in TO. I think dermott will sign a long term deal worth around 4, look at what sam girard got except girard puts up points and plays lots of minutes. Dermott does neither, I am really high on him but he doesnt do the two things that defenseman get paid for.

If they could use that extra capspace and sign say kreider or make a trade for zucker so they could run a kreider/Zucker-tavares-hyman/Anderson 2nd line and have a 3rd line of mikheyev-kerfoot-kappy/puljujarvi I would be very happy.

Spot on. Although, I would like to keep Anderson and see if he could bounce back or at least I think he could/will.

I think they would thrive on this team but I'd like to see what it would cost to sign Lehner or trade Korpisalo for Murray. Dubas wanted him as part of the Kessel trade bit Rutherford told him no. And I would assume he's made available before Jarry but I prefer Jarry. Or even Georgiev maybe? If that is our team and tandem I'm good with it ?

Imo Lehner is a tandem goalie making 1.5-2 million more than he should be making. As a starter he's only okay at best.

As Andersen's deal expires (walks or gets traded) it's a good time to switch to tandem goaltending. It's where the league is headed and overall just makes sense.

First is starters, second is backups. The reason the charts track slightly different stats is due to backup sample sizes (toi) and the other stat better showing performance for smaller sample sizes (toi).

I would like to keep Anderson as well but I dont think having him and hyman with JT is the best for JT. Having Zucker or kreider with Anderson and JT would make them a really good forechecking line with scoring talent and solid defensively. If they were to move hyman off that line or trade him I would like that a whole lot better

Murray, will get paid quite a bit with 2 Stanley cups and his health is concern too. Looks like he is losing his starting job, dont think hes good either.

I get it just two options that immediately came to mind. Like I said I'm good with this tandem but if we could upgrade on Korp i would exhaust all options to do so.

I get why everyone on here says that all trade proposals are bad because blah blah blah. Too many on here are narrow-minded and fall in love with their team's players and automatically assume they are untouchable or think they're worth a McDavid level return. In the real world, every player has a price just most wouldn't pay it for certain players. No GM makes decisions based on emotion or they would be outta work pretty fast.

I give you both credit for this then but man that must have been a great conversation. Got the link? Of course, they'd want more much like I was saying above.

Boy, I don't think I would extend Mo... He will likely want too much for way too long and they should move him either at the draft or the next deadline for some other Dman (LHD for RHD?).

He has also been low-key bad this year. Need to see more out of him.

It's definitely a good idea and the most recent trend to run with a tandem, the problem is trying to keep them together for more than a few years. But agree i think it's what we need to do and will do once Andersen is gone.
