Lias Andersson Up for Grabs Whats his worth Ranger Fans

Created by: AnyoneButTheBruins
Team: 2019-20 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 21, 2019
Published: Dec. 21, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Red Wings grab another bust prospect to turn him into something better maybe? I honestly don't really know what the value of this guy is. Less than Pulijarvi probably. Hopefully Yzerman steals this one like he did with Fabbri.

Ya but no one is going to give that though I think. His stats are terrible. I know he was a 7th overall, but still. I think best case scenario you get a 3rd and a half decent prospect.

how so explain how puljarvi had trouble replicating great stats in the nhl then left because he refused to play by the team that drafted him but Anderson wants to play in the nhl but nyr dont have a spot for him

Since poolparty is a bottom 6 player at best I would use a different comparison that one would probably piss off Anderson.

The majority of people will say hes not worth a 1st, which he isn't. Why would a team give up a 1st round when they can just use that pick to draft?

Puljujarvi only scored with top 6 talent. Quinn never put Lias with top 6ers.

they can draft a player yes but andersonn is further developed and has higher ceiling he just needs a fair chance which Quinn hasnt given him

Drafting a player that you want and have scouted thoroughly > Trading a draft pick for a guy who's somewhat developed by has the term "Bust" being thrown around him.

so no good team is giving a late 1st for a project theyd use it to help for a playoff run. so your looking at 2nds and a player so while you might not want that he hasn't shown much but being a high draft pick 3 drafts ago. If hes that good then put him in the line up and let him play.

What do you think you get for him a first? No one would give that away! I'd rather take a chance on a late 1st rounder that is younger and you have scouted a lot more than trade for a player that hasn't proven that he's 1st round material at all yet. Yes he could be better in the future, but right now no.

Yea you're high. Hes worth a 3rd at best, maybe a 4th and C/C+ prospect. At this point his draft position does not matter all that much. Hes done nothing in the NHL. The only reason you are even getting anything for him is because hes young and his draft position. If he was anything other than a 1st round pick this guy does not play another NHL game.
