If Pittsburgh can make the cap work they accept easily. Moving down probably 10-20 spots with downgrading at forward(is it really) and getting a top 6 LHD. Accepted all day long

true, but they get a great player in zucker while minnesota retains 50%

the only way i could see getting around the cap for pit is min retaining on brodin, which i would think would take the second going to pit IMO

I still think this trade would work as is because PIT would have $6M in additional space with Guentzel on LTIR.

Edmonton is overpaying and I just can't see the Wild retaining that much for that long, this trade is the equivalent of 4-1st round picks for Zucker, I like Zucker and think he's what Edmonton needs right now but give me a break that's way too much for him.

God I am a Flames fan and even I think that Edmonton trade is laughable. 2 grade a prospects + a top 4 D + a First for Zucker is homer-ism at its finest!
