MTL would have to overpay to get Minnesota to trade kaprizov. They don’t have any elite forwards, kaprizov looks like he can be that guy.

Minnesota would probably want MTL to add, because Kaprizov is younger, and probably the best player not playing in the NHL. MTL probably doesn't do that because they think Domi is more valuable, being the proven NHL commodity.

I wouldn't touch it from MN's perspective. I'd take the boom or bust chance with Kaprizov over whatever Domi is as a player.

I stop reading after your 1st trade, MTL decline and MIN doesn’t need Petry so they kind of decline too

MTL adds significantly

Kaprisov was roughly 6 months younger than Panarin his last season in Russia (I think) and has like 1 less point... Compared to Panarin's previous year Kaprisov outproduced him by a large quantity (being 6 months older this time)

Honestly Wild and Habs probably are not good trade partners. If Wild were to make a trade with Habs I think they will want Romanov or Kotkaniemi.

Don't see the trade working for either team. Kaprizov is unproven in North America. There's no point to trade a young unproven forward for a young proven forward.

Kaprizov could be good or not
Domi has proven he’s good
Significantly/a lot is kind of ridiculous for a unproven prospect

An unproven prospect who's best comparable is Panarin... Even then he is a better prospect than Panarin was...
