Benning isn't a top pairing defenseman. More like a bottom pairing defenseman
Also if Murray is that cheap why would they trade him?

Nashville was ahead of the curb when they elected to not protect Neal in the expansion draft. Now the rest of the league is catching on. They don’t want him back

Turris played a much bigger role under Hines than he did under Lavy and by all indications played much better after the coaching change, I don't see the Preds wanting Neal back
