Draisaitl is much better than Matthews, actually shows up every game which is, you know, a recurrent issue for the Leafs... (against PIT, CAR, DAL, my Rags and so many other times this year they didn't play like their talent tells us they should)

He is not better than McDavid but he is better than Draisaitl, he's much better defensively and is the best goal scorer in hockey. Also Larsson sucks

I don’t think it’s crazy to say Matthews is better than Draisaitl. I disagree, but it’s a reasonable stance. Then once contracts start coming into the conversation, there is no reasonable stance that involves Matthews having more value than draisaitl.

I think Matthews is better just because of the fact that he takes on the toughest matchups while Draisaitl has Mcdavid to absorb those matchups. Most teams tend to play their best defenders against Matthews and Nylander over JT and Marner. Draisaitl also isn't very good defensively but Matthews is at worst average. I think their contracts is the only way Draisaitl is more valuable than Matthews.

More involvement due to the team having 2 lines capable of playing NHL hockey and still he was a negative player at 5v5. He's also older. He's a good player no question, elite for sure but Matthews is better. You can't call yourself a Leafs fan of you think otherwise. It's wrong and proves you are just trolling
