You never know what they are going to do to keep Eichel happy. They have to make some huge moves this off season to be competitive or he is going to request a trade mid season they know it. I think they will use most of those peices to get a center a forward and a defenceman. I would make it a bigger give up hanifin and backland for all those peices

Buffalo trading Cozens for two seasons of Gaudreau would be like in 2016 if the Flames traded Tkachuk for a 2 year player that doesn’t put you over the top.

You can aim high, but Buffalo won't give you Cozens. Two years of Gaudreau does nothing for Buffalo they have too many holes.

You'd have a better chance at getting Byram than Cozens, because it could be a piece that pushes COL over the top

He's pretty untouchable and will be in the NHL at 19 so theirs not much difference. It would take an elite Center coming back to even consider moving him at this point. Sabres dont need Gaudreau. LW is the last position they have to worry about
