I suppose we've seen RD for 2 years and hes good already and gonna be awesome. So I guess if you have any doubts about laf then it's an alternative. He's not generational talent and alot of comps are to a guy like huberdeau which isn't so bad. I guess no but damn we need help on the blue line

Getting Dahlin would set up our D core for the next 10 years. One of Tuo, Mciasaac, Cholo, or johansson would fill the 2/3 spots for LD.

Yeah that proposal wouldnt make sense, not something Id propose.
What I proposed was Pilut and 38 overall for Helm, 51(2nd), 60 (2nd), and 63 (3rd). You're not opening a dialogue on anything, its boring. Then when opposed, which is what youre clearly looking for, "ItS nOt SeRiOuS bRo"

The trade logic doesn’t make sense. Eichel needs help so Buffalo trades an established left defenseman (where they’re lacking) for a winger. It’s literally robbing Peter to pay Paul. Saying all of this, of course I’d love to have Dahlin on the Wings but it’s not going to happen anytime soon.

No from the Rangers. Georgiev's valued too much by the organization to be taken as a freebie for trading a worse contract and taking on a bad one, especially when both only have 1 year left on them. Ottawa or some other bottom feeder would take Smith for nothing because his cap hit's going to be higher than his salary this year, and he has a bonus coming up this offseason.

Interesting idea, but I don't think Buffalo would make that trade. LHD is way more important than forward. Detroit would probably accept. Dahlin - Seider would be a monster 1st pairing for them.
