I think we do, If LA doesn't take him at #2, If they do then one of Byfield or Stutzle falls to us depending on who Ottawa takes with the Shark pick.

No just don't, why waste an early pick on a dman, the Wings need another good forward way more then a dman and there's so many dmen available in free agency this year and many that could be had in a trade, the Wings should draft the best center available with the 4th overall pick whoever that is.

LA better not pick drysdale #2. If anything if they want him they trade back. Leaving byfield or stuetzle for that matter is a huge mistake. I like their chances of getting a D man with one of the 3 2nds

And i agree you're still going to get a very good Dman in the 2nd round as well plus the 2021 NHL draft is pretty much loaded with Dmen in the early part.

I think it's Rossi or Drysdale.

Rossi is a lot like Brayden Point. Small guy but very stout. The risk is if he can play C at 5'9", but he was 58% in the circle this year and 56% in his OHL career

RD is Detroit's deepest position. After Byfield and Stutzle the next 6 players are about even talent wise. From what I've reading and hearing Drysdale is a 2nd pair defenseman and with Hronek and Seider already on the right side it makes no sense to me.

The Detroit can take another RD with their 1st pick in the 2021 draft. That would make sense if you're Matt Millen.
