If TJ is willing to waive - Calgary would certainly be able to put a reasonable offer together - at least reasonable enough TB isn't paying to move him - Killorn can also be moved with a reasonable return of futures - TB should hang onto to Sergachev and Ciereli (8-9 million gets them both done on 4/5 year deals)

Hell no. Cirelli is severely overrated on this forum.

The whole point of trading for Sergachev would be to add to Hronek and Seider. It’s also pretty lateral when Yzerman knows they have no leverage due to cap.

Sabres desperately need a 2C
I could see something close being a possibility

TJ Doesn't want to play in Canada, It's already been mentioned by the Bolts insiders that he has no desire to play in Canada and wont waive for any Canadian team.

Is this a joke? Tampa is in no position to dictate what they will get for certain RFA players. Offer sheets on Cernak, Cirelli and Sergachev are very real possibility. Detroit's not giving up Hronek for Sergacgev nor is buffalo giving up Cozens for Cirelli. Detroit would only consider something around Hronek for Sergachev if Detroit were to draft Jamie Drysdale. FYI Hronek next summer could get as much as Sergachev this summer. So i doubt that trade makes any sense.

Since Sergachev is about to get paid I wouldn't trade him for Hronek straight up!

Now I wouldn't trade Paquette for Smith but I like Smith and the way the way he plays so I'm bias on the subject.

That was my rationale also. Why waste a year of cap (Sergachev vs Hronek) when that could be used to acquire futures. I’ve also followed Smith being drafted (thought maybe another Bert) and think he’ll be a good bottom 6 grinder.

Sabres would likely be willing to move 8 o/a fir Cirelli but not Cozens. Cozens appears ready to step into a third line role in the NHL now and elevate to a 2nd line role in 1-2 years where he would be supplanting Cirelli to the third line.

Tampa doesn't move either, especially not Sergachev. Both will get signed at 4-4.5 on 3 year bridges. Cirelli could possibly get traded if Cozens is the main piece but Tampa quickly declines if all that's offered is 8OA and Mittlestadt. Tampa's not interested in a lottery ticket or a meh player in return for their 2C.
