There's a small possibility that Pittsburgh loses the play-in round against Montreal and wins the 12.5% lottery, landing Lafreniere. At the same time, Hall said that he is tired of losing and willing to take a discount to sign with a champion team.

Where the hell did Hall say he'd take a discount to win a Cup? Even if he did, no way he's taking THAT much of discount for 3 years. A discount to him is probably $7M (compared to the $10 he'd get regularly on the open market) for 1 year.

No freaking way is Hall signing for 3x3, Would love Jarry in Detroit but we've no use for Bjugstad and Johnson.

Jarry is good but JJ and Bjugstad are cap dumps and Detroit isn't going to take both and give up a 3rd as well.

He looks to likely be a solid starter. Pitt has a choice to make & tbh not sure which goalie JR keeps. Probably both & figure it out before the e-draft, Keeping the cup window open my guess.
