I wouldn't mind dealing domi to PIT but I can't see MB giving away our first round pick or Petry. If Petry gets dealt its probably at the deadline and for future's not someone who's had injury problems/is on the decline like Letang. McCann is a center and I don't think MTL needs more of them, especially if they are pushing domi out.

I do think that any deal involving domi includes one of Poulin or Legare (probably Poulin tho) and a pick. The pick could be a first assuming MTL takes on a cap dump (please god not johnson)

Ok so MTL likely move up all of 1 spot in the draft to go from Petry to Letang (slight edge to Letang) and Domi + Fleury to McCann + Legare (which is a landslide Domi/Fleury edge).

Yeah... I just don't see MTL liking that one bit.

How about this?

1) Poulin rather than Legare
2) Juulsen (or Brook) rather than Fleury

That makes the trade worse Brook and Juulsen have more upside than Fleury as both are likely to be top 4 RHD where as Fleury projects as a bottom pairing with mid pairing ceiling.

Deal I see is something like

Domi + Fleury + 2020 2nd (Chi)

for

Legare + 2020 1st + 2022 3rd

CGY should do that deal. It's a value win and a worthwhile gamble.
