Sens just found a prime trade target. Yotes just lost a 1st and 2nd, Ottawa has three 1sts and four 2nds to flex around.

It's both the 2021 1st and the 2020 2nd. I'm sure NJD would get the following 1st...or AZ would forfeit the 2022 1st. They'll get that squared away.

Kings will help you with that cap situation. Just send Hjalmarsson and Grabner to LA. $8M+ cap space off the books immediately.

Meh, he’d only be our 3LD long term but I guess he’s okay, keep him for a few years to ease Brannstrom in and deal him for assets when the kids need new contracts and Brannstrom is an established 2LD

Schmaltz was invisable in the 2020 playoffs and Hjmarmasson was injured a lot for you guys
Murphy is underrated stud
Strome has the potential to be 40-50 point scorer for the Hawks
and we got a top a RHD prospect in Regula because of the Strome trade

I would have him as the long term 2LD. Brannstrom moves over to his preferred right side.

Does Brannstrom actually prefer the right side or is he just forced to play there and decently good at it (TJ Brodie type deal)? I always thought he was just good enough to do whatever but was better on the left

He's mentioned multiple times he would rather play on his off side. He's more comfortable there, and if they could get a big bodied defender to play on his left, that would be a perfect situation for him.
