Lol Pageau the better player got traded for a 1st and 2nd with an extension. Why would Danault be worth more? I can understand not wanting to trade him cause yes he's a great player, but let's not get carried away here.

You are right Detroit could use an LD, but they also have to be smart about it. Giving up a 2nd and a 3rd for a player who has 1 good season under his belt.

Avs have 2 things to fix in the offseason.
1st a better Trainer, Avs can't stay healthy
2nd upgrade goaltending after that they are great.

I’ll disagree training isn’t the issue with the injuries they had particularly Grubauer and EJ who have an injury history, and Landeskog, Calvert and Timmins who were hurt on fluke plays. Tweeking a groin as a goalie that just happens. Availability is a skill, and sometimes some luck.

Goal tending jeez I’m not going to argue when the best save percentage they had in any of the losses was .854 and they still had a shot to win 3 of them.

1st and foremost they need a new plan for the PK. The current incarnation which I have railed against all season is an asinine plan of 1 forward pressing the puck and 3 guys standing around. They literally gave up a PP in every game against Dallas and multiple in multiple games.

The important thing for the Avs to do is not over react. If the right goalie is available, say Lehner then they should pull the trigger, but chasing the wrong one Murray isn’t the right plan.

It's debatable. I would value the 30goal pace center over the 55pt pace center but thats imo. He really had a breakout year this year. Similar defensive games. Great playoff performer. Any case I'd say his value is close to a 1st + 2nd if he was extended. 2nd + 3rd of he isn't. Z as an RFA has that same value. Not Girard.

The thing is the Jackets don’t have to trade him if the value is not there in a trade. But there is no way Jarmo is going to trade him for peanuts. Really hard to put a value on him at this point.

First of all Habs have ZERO interest in Zadorov, and second of all Danault is worth wayyy more than just Z. We won’t move him for nothing so if you want him you’re overpaying for him.

Haven't watched all Avs' playoffs but his value won't incredibly change (and shouldn't); A 3rd I would say. Late 2nd, best-case but that's if a team really need an LD.
