Not time for the Bruins to trade their future; I would pass.

If they fully blow it up I don’t hate this, but they really should be getting more in the OEL deal. People are gonna disagree and say he’s “trash” but simply put they cannot trade their captain for spare parts with a first attached.

MN is a nope. Schmaltz for dumba straight up would make more sense. Wouldn't take goligoski and that's throwing away a 1st.

I think Schmaltz have a tad more value than Dumba due to his term. He has 6 years left in a reasonable contract. Compared to Dumba's 3 years, I think Wild needs to add. With the addition of a prospect and a replacement D imo 1st is an apt compensation for this.

Grzelcyk is not a spare part. Bruins decline that trade even if you take both the seconds out.

Fine. Gryz is not a spare part. But Moore is (at a higher cap hit than Stepan) and Lauko is not a real prospect. If you took both seconds out AZ declines anyway

Lauko is very much a real prospect. It’s fine to ask about him. At least give it a google before spouting such foolishness.

Grzelcyk comes at under half the cost of OEL, and the former's coming off the better season at a younger age. Lauko's not a guarantee or anything, but shows promise for sure

I did google him. Uninspiring at AHL this year, average in junior. His best review comes from Corey Pronman, who has him rated as a bottom 6 forward. Coyotes are not trading OEL for a 2nd pairing LD, a cap dump, and a potential future bottom 6 guy.

Luckily the game isn’t played on paper, and your assessment of the potential for a guy you’ve never seen play means squat.

for a goalie that has 1 more year of control and was the best goalie for half the season this year.

In fairness i gave you credit enough to understand a bit more after looking him up. Maybe grab a couple source. Maybe a youtube clip. I didn’t think you were gonna read one article from another guy that’s never seen him play and take it as gospel.

Just don't think it's worth it, to be frank. I think the player that 15 can become has a solid chance of being the most valuable piece in this deal by quite a margin.
