I dont think Detroit does that trade but looking at it longterm, its a steal for Toronto. if Seider becomes 1/2 to 3/4 of Jones, watch out

Gonna be a no from Detroit. We’re rebuilding so we can’t just give up our best prospect and a top 5 pick

Hard, hard pass from Detroit. It doesn’t make sense for us to give up multiple prime assets for 1 player when the rebuild is just getting going.

Bertuzzi and Hronek for Nylander, Liljgren and 15th overall?

Completely agree that they aren’t making a foolish move like this. But we are heading into the 5th year of the rebuild. Wouldn’t say it just started. I think after this offseason detroit will start to add.

I wouldn't trade seider for marner straight up, let alone the other pieces. Pass as usual

I'm not sure TOR would get value for Marner because of his contract. They'd get a good return, but not true value. Seider would definitely not be in the mix (this isn't a Sergachev/Drouin situation here) and probably not the 32OA. I could see them doing Bertuzzi and the 1st, and maybe a later 2nd in 2020. You might even be able to pry Bowey away smile

DET could have a pretty sizable advantage in a few years due to cost control. Seider still has 3 years on his ELC, so does Veleno. Zadina has 2 years left, plus this year's pick. Burning some of that cost control with a Marner type trade would need to be advantage DET on the trade.

Brutal for Detroit. Recent 6th overall pick, a first rounder that's expected to be high, the 32nd overall pick in this draft and a 40-50 point 25 year old winger? It makes absolutely no sense for a rebuilding team to trade multiple high value futures for a young player on a massive contract.

Blues don't entertain the idea of Reilly for Parayko at all.

“It’s just getting going”, as in the prospects are starting to show why Yzerman picked them (some of them anyways) and it’s looking like we have some kids who can play, and one day contribute rather than just a ton of question marks. But, I agree, it’s getting close to being time to add some guys

That’s a tough one for me personally. It would depend who’s around at 15, but also should we take Drysdale (for some reason) moving Hronek makes some sense. I’m personally not high enough on Liljgren to make the trade, and I really like Hronek. Even though there’s a clear difference between Bert and Nylander + 15OV, it’s the difference of Hronek and Liljgren that worries me for the future of the dcore

Oh wow. This is one of the worst I've ever seen

Bertuzzi and Hronek for Nylander, Liljgren and 15th overall? - I'd have to take a longer look, but I'd definitely consider it at this point.
