I wouldn't mind seeing Gusev to Tampa for Sergachev + Johnson.

Gusev was a Tampa prospect before I’m pretty sure the only reason they traded him to Vegas was because he didn’t want to sign there

Yeah like that would ever happen, Who else are you adding because Gusev sure doesn't get Sergachev?

Gusev was dealt out of Tampa because he didn't want to sign there, No reason to suspect that things are any different.

Vegas certainly declines due to cap restraints.

Tampa doesn't save anything in this situation. They need to cut $10-15M in cap space. This trade is practically a lateral move.

Gusev refused to sign because they couldn't guarantee a roster spot and KHL paid. The reason Vegas convinced him to come down was because he was going to get money and play in the show. He just didn't want to go to the AHL, I don't see why he wouldn't want to play with Kucherov

Winnipeg would want more quality and less quantity.

TB - Gusev and Kucherov played with each as teens and again in international competitions. But I don't know that these are the guys TB moves.
VGK - Vegas doesn't have to money to add now, if they did it would be for a center. Also, Palmieri gets more than depth d-man and 2nd.
WPG - Yikes, no.
CHI - as much as Zacha as under-performed offensively, he still has value to NJD as 3c and they wouldn't just dump him like this.

Gusev and Kuch together would be great. However TB is in cap hell. Your trade adds to that problem and you take two of our top six defensemen which is a wekness at the moment.

Yeah not sure how this would work, and we need a center, not a winger

Am I missing something in the Chicago trade? Zacha is 23 and can put up 30 points per season as a C. Is this a cap dump? He's clearly the better player and worth more than simply Carpenter. If this is a trade proposed to me as GM of Hawks, I'll take it but am I missing anything?

We have so many centers. Zacha was supposed to have a higher ceiling.
