Won't comment on the value of the trade. However, the last thing the leafs need is more offense and less defense.

I like how you started this thread to prove a point to the bruins fans in the other post. lol
You should have added the polling option so we could all just click no and then the two bruins fans could click yes and feel like they won.

Leafs say no quickly. Boston could certainly use a trade like this. I’m sure they have some sort of lhd target in mind.

correct, he's not top 10, he's actually top 5 if you take into account he missed 30 more games than the top 5 point producing defenceman and do the math. That would put him over yandle (if he scored at the pace he was scoring at) and he'd be top 5.

otherwise though, even with his injuries, less GP and lower ice time than everybody else in the top 20, he's 8th in scoring over the last 3 seasons among defencemen

Oh and, at even strength, he's 4th smile

You said in an earlier post in this thread that Debrusk is objectively a better player. Which is it? We get it, you don't like Rielley and/or the Leafs. At least lay out some arguments as to why you feel this way. Lyle at least can back up what he's saying with data.

Surely this scoring talent would help Toronto greatly in the playoffs.... Oh wait. Scoring he may be top 10 but ur borderline delusional if u think he's top 10 let alone 5 as an overall Defenseman, which would make sense considering ur bio 🤷

guess mcdavid sucks then, he can't seem to get his team into the playoffs let alone out of the first round

mackinnon? pff, team hasn't seen a 3rd round appearance since the early 2000s.

oh wait, the team loses in spite of those guys, not because of them
