4. Trevor Zegras wins Calder after leading all rookies in scoring.

1. Boston Bruins will miss the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
I’d say this is 50-50 on happening.

2. Tampa will finish 4th in the Central.
I doubt it, unless Vasy gets injured.

3. Quinn Hughes leads all D in scoring.
He’s definitely one of the D who could.

4. Trevor Zegras wins Calder after leading all rookies in scoring.
That is very bold. Not out of the question because of how bad their division is after the top 3.

5. Marc Andre Fleury finishes the season with a better Save % than Robin Lehner
That could definitely happen, but likely because Lehrer will be playing better teams.

6. OTT does NOT finish in last place in the North division. How's that for bold!?
Extremely bold. That would probably only happen if Hellebuyck gets injured.

7. Andrei Svechnikov scores at least 25G including 3 lacrosse goals.
Probably.

8. The Stanley Cup winner comes from the Canadian division. With an Asterisk???
I doubt it, but if there is, there shouldn’t be an asterisk. If you make it through the playoffs, you’re clearly the best team in the league (other than injuries to their teams, which happens every year).

9. Carter Hart leads league in Wins and wins Vezina.
Could happen, but I’d be leaning more towards Vasilevsky because of the strength of competition.

10. Mika Zibanejad scores 38G to win Rocket.
I could see that.

Why would there be an asterisk? There wasn't one in 2013 in a 48-game season.

I didn't mean b/c of the length of the season. I meant b/c of the automatic trip to the Conference Final. I was sorta being facetious though.

There's also a guarantee that only 1 Canadian team will make the 3rd round.

Good point, but when was the last time that more than one Canadian team made the final four? Serious Question. Was it 1993?

My question was, when was the last time more than one Canadian team made the final? I thought it was 1993 with the Leafs and Habs, but I think it might've been '94 with the Canucks and the Leafs when they were in the same conference.

I think it's pretty bold, a lot of other players will be going for it, I have Svech fourth or fifth, behind Ovie, Pasta, Matthews, and possibly Z-Bad, or maybe even Laine.

It was 1994.

Edit: I think @Gmonwy misunderstood because @Brian2016 accidentally said the final instead of the final four. The last time more than one Canadian team made the final 4 was in 1994.

Pasta could miss 20 games. Krug is gone. Marchand recovering. Rask bailing during bubble may have negative implications. I see potential signs of trouble in Boston. They seem to have more adversity than many of the other top teams in the East division. Maybe they triumph over the adversity or maybe they struggle. I'm taking the latter.

Marchand isnt going to miss any games, Krug is gone but he wasnt a good defender they will be fine on defense even with 2 rookies out there. Smith is a 20 goal scorer who will fill pastas role fine until he comes back. I would rather have rask bail and come back sharp for this season vs a Rookie goaltender with no real backup for both washington and pittsburgh. When lundqvist was there you could have said bruins might be 3rd. without a real backup there is samsonov struggles theyre toast. same with jarry.

Being from NY I was taught from a young age to hate the Bruins (and the Red Sox). I want them to lose even when on paper they're still a really solid team. Marchand and the Bruins are just so easy to root against.
