Spencer Knight absolutely stole that game for the U.S., guy is an absolute stud.

I was surprised by Beniers, I was already debating putting him on a “standouts” list but I think overall plus the final game he performed very well. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes in the draft/ how the rest of his year goes but I liked watching him.

Same with Ryan Johnson - he impressed me a ton for not knowing a ton about him prior

I dont think knight stole anything. He played well for sure but the U.S. did a phenomenal job at keeping Canada to the outside in their end and were all over Canada in Canada's end. Canada looked flat from puck drop in the first and had a hard time finding their rythem until late in the second. Knight held the fort for the last 5 minutes of the 2nd but that was really the only time he was tested frequently.

Canada sorely missed Dach and the experience and leadership he would brought to a game like this; nonetheless GO USA!
