@TheLeafsSeason Doesn't like or want Lehtonen on the Leafs and is very addiment about how good Bogosian is so Why don't we swap Lehtonen with Edmundson who brings the exact same qualities Bogosian does.

we just acquired Edmunson we aren't trading him but if we do Mete would take his spot and it would help us with our cap situation

I wouldn't want edmunson for free unless he was making under 1 mil. Half because we can't afford him and half because I would rather play Dermott

The Leafs' should trade Lehtonen, but it should be for a pick, not a player.

The Leafs have too many NHL ready D and that is going to cause nothing but problems - both now and long term. As Mirtle at The Athletic responded to a question where the person said that having too many NHL ready players is seen as positive thing.

"Normally its a significant negative."

And that is in a normal season. Wait until the Marlies don't get permission to play and the Leafs' are playing a 27 year old who is UFA this summer and was not good enough to make the starting lineup despite the advantage of having played all fall simply because they feel they need to play free wallets.

Like the description says this is strictly because TheLeafsSeason Loves Bogo so much and Hates Lehtonen with a passion. I don't actually think either team does this for various reasons.

That trade would be very bad as Lehtonen I feel once settled is gonna be very dangerous. PP2 with him over Brodie is gonna look so much better. Still not a fan of the new units but meh Keefe loves to experiment.

yeah but still better than Ceci and Zaitsev thats for sure. In general all the Dman on both sides really did not look settled and it showed. Will take a few games for the players to settle and I expect Bogo to play better given time.

TRADE IDEA JUST FOR THELEAFSSEASON. But you gotta remember "TheLeafsSeason" isn't a Leaf fan. He wants to trade virtually every Leafs for others teams bottom enders.
Leafs have no desire for Edmundson and his contract. Lehotonen will get his chance this season. After last night, any homo sapien could have been better than Bogosian.
