I say consider because I haven't watched Dobson a ton personally, so I would need to figure out what he is / gonna project to be. If he's on track to be a top pairing defenceman then yes its a no brainer

Nylander is an already established 30 goal player, great possession player, play driving winger, and signed to a great deal. You think you get that for something that's not worth something?

Great deal? Hes signed 4 years at 7 mil thats not a great deal. Also beau isnt a middle 6 winger hes a clear top 6. And dobson isnt just a young dman hes a stud. I understand leafs fans take things very personally.

A 30 goal, 60 point guy that drives a line, is great at driving a line, great at possession, and is right in his prime for under $7M with term on it is a great deal. It's one of the best deals in the league.

Beauvillier is a middle 6 guy currently. Meaning he plays either 2nd or 3rd line minutes. Don't know how you argue that.

& again, just because you clearly don't like the Leafs, doesn't mean they'd just give you their good players for nothing. Their needs include defence, they're gonna ask for Dobson because he fits that and is closest to Nylander's value. Who else would they ask for? Leddy? Pulock? Pelech? Mayfield? Greene? Aho? ... you're absolutely nuts if you think any of those have the same value as Nylander.

I get that you hate the Leafs because Tavares picked Toronto over the Islanders (can't blame him for making the smart and right decision), but that doesn't justify your very poor trade logic.
