Skinner is almost untradable right now, unfortunately, he'll have to be regularly in the lineup and back to somewhat of his old scoring self before anyone will entertain his contract. He's not as awful as his stats seem, it can happen.

Not sure Nashville does it. Skinner may waive his NMC to be exposed in the expansion draft.

He'll want to go or Krueger has to go...

Skinner is a good player getting used horribly
But bc of that, he’s basically got “negative” trade value
That means we’d have to add more in this trade-
especially since Ekholm >>> Montour as well

I reallly think our best reasonable hope is that Ralph gets moved to a Management position (like Team Pres) and we get a coach in here that’ll just put Skinner back with Eichel & let them fly

I still don’t think that gets it done. Duchene has played well he just isn’t finding the score sheet. Hynes uses him horribly and he surrounds him with **** talent.

Duchene has been an albatross every where he's been he's the epitome of addition by subtraction his whole career. Leave Colorado they become contenders. Ottawa goes to cup final gets Duchene fights for top pick. Rinse and repeat with smashville.

The problem with Skinner's contract is that it's two or more yers longer than anyone we're talking about. That's two additional years of a $9 million cap hit (minus any retention) and $12 million in actual cash (ditto). There has to be some compensation for those factors to the team taking him on. I'd put the value on that at a first-round pick at least. That's aside from any actual on-ice value difference.
