Buffalo has no incentive to make that deal. You would need to over pay for olofsson for the Sabres to trade him.

Everybody accepts except for Calgary, Buffalo and maybe Ottawa.

If you take out the 4th round pick, then Ottawa should accept IMO.

Buffalo not only declines, they probably add a **** you and hang up. Olofsson is not for sale, especially not within the division. If they want Danault they sign him in the off-season for free.

So drop him down in the lineup and let him score 25 mostly on the pp. Thats likely more than we get from danault, mete, or buffalo drafting the pick.
