Montreal Canadiens- Montreal pays Seattle a 2022 6th round pick, Ryan Poehling and Josh Brook to take Paul Byron.

New Jersey Devils- Hischier, Bratt, Wood, Zacha, McLeod, Kuomkanen, Sharangovic, Subban, Severson, Butcher, Blackwood. Seattle selects Nathan Bastian.
New York Islanders- Barzal, Lee, Nelson, Eberle, Pageau, Bailey, Beauvillier, Leddy, Pulock, Pelech, Varlamov. Seattle selects Kieffer Bellows.

Toronto Maple Leafs- Matthews, Tavares, Marner, Nylander, Kerfoot, Hyman, Galchenyuk, Muzzin, Brodie, Rielly, Campbell. Seattle selects Travis Dermott.
New Jersey and Ottawa have so many useless forwards I didn’t know who to protect. Definitely gonna catch some slack for one of those
If I can allow myself to speak on STL's behalf, don't think they pay to dump Faulk. I don't know if he's protected or not, but if he's not then so be it, but he's solid right now.
Yeah. I don't think Bastian has much potential. He seems like a bottom 6 winger. Merkley could be a solid center, especially since this Seattle team center depth is weak.

They have Parayko, Dunn, Krug, Faulk on D and they have more than 4 useful forwards. Maybe they pu to get rid of Krug instead? Idk, they’re in a sticky situation and no one is rly talking ab it

That’s fair, but personally I’ve never seen much in Merkley and I’ve always liked Bastian, so that pick was n personal reference
If the Bruins don't protect Smith and Seattle takes Lauzon over Zboril, great. Not sure NSH will be willing to pay all that for them to take Johansen...

Has Zboril rly been better than Lauzon? I did not know that
The only one I see is Zuccarello waiving his nmc . Leaves Greenway available.
Montreal has to pay more to get Seattle to take Byron AND not take Allen.
I see Berdin from Winnipeg instead of Niku..
Seems a bit extreme for TB for Johnson especially how cheap StL gets off for Faulk...
I think Zuc waives knowing Seattle won’t take him. Could be right ab MTL, not sure tbh. And w tampa and st louis, Faulk is a lot more useful than TJ, and Seattle has a lot of leverage w Tampa and I think they’ll be able to get a lot out of them
Everyone has Seattle selecting McCann from Pittsburgh in their mock expansion draft. It would be crazy if Hextall left him exposed. I believe that they SHOULD and hopefully will protect:
Letang, Dumoulin, Pettersson, Jarry, Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Rust, Kapanen, McCann, and one of Tanev, Blueger, and ZAR. They should leave Zucker exposed. Worst case, Seattle selects him and Pittsburgh has cap space going into the offseason. I as a Pens fan am going to be pissed if they don't protect McCann.
