Boston isn't move either of their young goalies. Swayman is expansion draft exempt and Vladar will be protected

I mean with Rask up in the air I doubt they move halak at the deadline.

Bruins aren’t trading for Dunn as they would turn around and lose him in the expansion draft.

Halak isn't getting traded, Swayman isn't the backup.

Sure, but its a price no one is paying for unproven NHL goaltending. Boston isn't trading them for futures and neither guy is landing a player that either address our need for top 6 scoring or a top pairing LHD lol

The whole St. Louis trade is a disaster.

They could technical do 8+1 in expansion draft but not sure they want to lose 2 forward protection spots. You never know though. 63-37-88-13 are mandatory because of NMC. I’m still not clear on Krejci and his NMC. He is under contract with an NMC so do they have to protect him? Capfriendly appears to think so, but who picks a guy they lose 7 days later.

With those 4, and you only lose 1, you might take that chance right?

Also, they can send a pick to Seattle to pick someone else. It’s happened before.

What I think is that the Bruins need to find ways to sneak prospects in during this TDL where possible. Give up picks, but get a target and a prospect where possible.

I definitely think the Bruins will take calls trading Halak and even shop him. Rask is the guy. When playoffs hit, he plays every game or we fall to a backup. Not sure Halak is the guy. To stock the cupboard with another prospect using one half of the best goalie tandem in the NHL), then they definite are going to be interested.

Rask is the ride or die. He’s the only one who’s going to play when it comes to the playoffs and we saw what happened when we had to play halak last year in the playoffs. Might as well get what you can for him if someone’s willing to pay. Worst case scenario one of the young guys gets some playoff experience if rask can’t go
