I like this lineup. EXCEPT Matthew Tkachuk on the second line. Change him to the third line LW while Van riemsdyk gets to play in the second line. He has been producing so much this year.
Cut that entire 3rd line and Oshie. Add Larkin, Miller, Boeser, and Guentzel. DeBrincat can also be on that list. Cut Suter, Carlo and maybe Fox (though I think Fox will be the #7) and add Jones, Werenski, and Carlson. Demko > Knight atm
Guentzel, Debrincat, Larkin all deserve to make the team. I could see redundancies with Cat and other offensive players, but Guentzel and Larkin are solid two-way players, much more useful than JVR or Wheeler or Oshie IMO. It's nice that Team USA has so many options, much improved from just a few years ago when it was mostly grit and grind.
Edit - forgot about Boeser too, he has probably earned a spot
I know his metrics aren't great but Carlson will almost for sure make it, and I think he probably deserves to as well. I like the 6 guys you have though.
Up front looks pretty good too, I doubt Wheeler makes it along with a couple of other guys and I think Guentzel 100% makes it though along with the possibility of others like Larkin.
Carlson will make it, whether you think he deserves to or not, he will make it. I get his metrics aren't to die for but I think he deserves to make it.
I agree, but I personally wouldn't have Carlson on my roster. Hughes and Fox are more than capable to run a PP, and on the RHD-side, Fox and especially McAvoy have already proven that they can shut down the best of the best while also providing elite level offense.

Fair, I would take him as the 7th guy though that's just me I see your side of it tho.
I'm a Rangers fan, hence the decision to include Jack Hughes is as un-biased as it gets
Jokes aside, I think he'd do absolute wonders on an olympic sized rink. And considering his young age, he'd be more than happy to even get the chance to be an extra player
I really wanted to include Petry. He absolutely deserves a spot. The competition is tough though. I will all say this, I’m a bit biased when it comes to Fox because I’m a Rangers fan. Maybe replace Fox with Petry, and put Fox as 7th defenseman instead of Pesce.

What, no. Fox is one of the best (if not the best) defensemen on the team. Although I’d argue that Petry should be ahead of players like Suter and Carlo.

That’s nuts to not include Fox who can play a damn good 2 way game. Carlson can’t defend, all he does is puts up points. At this point I’m adding Fox over Jones or Werenski.
