You must have missed Parayko falling behind Faulk on depth chart. And his nose dive in play overall. He’s been worse than Holl.

Imagine reading “smaller pieces to even out” and acting like Holl is that piece when he’s been better than Parayko.

Hence the even money trade. Also Marner isn’t overpaid by that much.

Parayko is still a young #2 dman who can load a lots of minutes. Not because he has a down year he lost is value
Holl have been good, but he is a fringe #4 dman

Parayko’s play tanked last season and then fell even more this season.

Here’s my take on the Chicago trade. We don’t need any of the players we are getting in the deal. For that reason, if we accept it depends purely on what we could trade them for later. If it’s better value coming to us we do it, if not we don’t.

I'll be honest, I'll be disappointed if they lose. I honestly believe TOR and WPG the best two teams left in that division. They should battle it out.

Don't need or want Kerfoot, but Reilly wouldn't be bad if we got an extention done

If Parayko has "nose dived" in play as you say, why do you want him so badly?
Couple of facts though. One, Parayko was hurt at the beginning of the season and because of that his play suffered. He missed 20 games because of his back issue. At the end of the season, he was healthy and playing like his usual self. He was fine.
Also, Blues have no interest in a 10+ mil forward. That's not the type of player Army wants to have in his lineup.

He doesn't understand. Parayko hasn't nose dived in play, he was playing hurt with a back injury. When healthy, he's great.

I’m not a leafs fan or a blues fan. I don’t care if Parayko figures it out. But if he does he’s an upgrade over Holl.

Also his play tanked last season. This season he didn’t get any better. Faulk took over 1RD for STL.

Again, he was hurt dude. Or did you ignore that? Also, he's the one who got the toughest assignments whilst hurt. When healthy, he was great.

Sorry you want to ignore the injury that kept him sidelined for 20 games this season, but it's just facts.
Also, if it's "just facts" then you wouldn't trade for him, you'd trade for Faulk. Just facts.

Imagining blaming an injury this year for him being so bad last year. Is your reading comprehension that bad?

You try playing with an injury and see how it goes. It's not that easy especially when it's the back like his is.
