I feel like I’ve had to say this on multiple posts here in the last few months, but there is no such thing as salary retention for a player being chosen in the expansion draft. It’s literally not allowed and not possible.

Wild management isn't trading him. He's easily a top 5, top 10 two way c in the game, & he's a part of wild long term. He's not available.

Also Lawrence is just a body who might never play in NHL again. Wild have zero need for a d in any dumba trade

So, what you're saying is .. Eichel, who is arguably a Top 5 talent, let's just say Top 10 in the NHL, wouldn't be more productive feeding Kiril passes than Joel EE? Eichel won't have a better career despite their age difference? And Dumba is going to get exposed in the expansion draft, why not get rid of him in a package? Pilut wanted out of the Sabres organization, so he bolted, but they still have his rights.

Scoring isn't everything. Kaprizov playing with rask had 56 points

An average c can get kaprizov more

It really doesn't matter though because wild GM isn't trading Joel Eriksson Ek whose off limits, & many wild fans have made it clear Joel Eriksson Ek isn't getting traded in eichel package

As for dumba: no, he's not getting exposed. Wild can do 4, 4.

Wild GM has no interest in letting dumba go
