So you trade Eichel, don’t take Beniers, don’t get Rossi in the trade and actually think UFA’s like Statsny who are looking for a cup will sign in BUF? That’s one way to go.

Reinhart's definitely not signing more than 1 year

Don't know why Buffalo would leave Granato, the team played much better under him. Would expect the Pegulas to keep him for at least a year

The Jets would rather keep Appleton if Seattle doesn't take him.

If that’s all the Sabres get for Eichel, you’re better off playing chicken with him and having him sit out

I know, but some rumors say the Cats are going to sign and trade him to Seattle in order them to take a player (my guess is Stralman) of their choosing.

Jesus how true. Boldy, a late first in a crappy draft, and some stuff that doesnt help us at all. Maybe russia is a fun place to play, no idea.

While you say that now, CD is expected to be taken in the expansion draft. So you either ship him off to another team for something or just lose him for nothing in the expansion draft. I don’t know about you but I would take that trade. Could CD fetch a higher price? Yes. Possibly a fourth rounder.

Yes from Canes, but it's probably a no for Buffalo. I feel like we would have to add in that deal, not Buffalo

That’s what I’m saying. Injury, NMC whatever, the Sabres hold the leverage bc they have 5 years left on the deal as the 7th or 8th highest paid player in hockey. You think Jack wants to miss out on that cash? Incorrect.
