They all "achieved" something.

Not a whole lot of players have done it as you can see with the lackluster roster (could be better but I wanted it to look like a realistic team).

🤦‍♂️, Detroit fans seem to be adding Detroit fan bias, Yzerman is the best GM and we overhype this player to their players trade values thus multiplying it by about 100

Yzerman seems like a gm who can build a contender but before they win anything he gets fired and never sees the end result and his replacement often goes in makes one minor change and bam wins the cup

Basically put him in a rebuilding team and he thrives while on a competing team it seems some of his trades just look towards the future and not the present

Matthews aint overpaid lul, Marner sure by a mill but if a 94 point RW was gonna make less than 9.25 I would have been very surprised.

I would go Matthews and Marner. Sure it would cost more but Matthews makes it all worth it. Plus with no JT in that mix you have more space to build around those 2.

Well hes gonna be expensive thats for sure. That goal streak he had last season along with the team Canada performance, and his penalty killing abilities make him a valuable asset.

So probs what Coleman got back in the Tampa trade. Maybe slightly less

Me too. Simply because Aho+Svech+Turbo costs less than Matthews+Marner combined. Those two together are not that far behind Matthews and Marner, and the fact they have so much cap room to maneuver with just makes them the better option. And to be fair it has showed in few of the recent playoffs, too.
