Im gonna narrow it down

YES

Rangers: the last thing the Rangers need is a winger, but they have been shopping Buchnevich.
Trade idea: Buch for Tarasenko

Islanders: Need a winger next to Barzal that can actually help him.
Trade idea: Eberle+Wilde+Komarov for Tarasenko

Bruins: Have enough cap space and could be a second line winger.
Trade idea: DeBrusk+2nd for Tarasenko

Capitals. Another winger for their top 6.
Trade idea: Kuzy for Tarasenko

Panthers: Winger for Barkov
Trade idea: Denisenko for Tarasenko


NO

Lightning: Can't afford Tarasenko (unless he goes to LTIR)

Flyers: Don't need top 6 wingers.

Golden Knights: Don't need wingers and can't afford him




Cant see the caps making that trade. Kuzy is better than tarasenko. Plus a Kuzy trade needs a top 2C coming back or it needs to be a complete cap clear which this has neither

So Florida is buying out Yandle not a bad buyout but not really good either, GM’s are really regretting handing out NMC so my question to you all is will they learn or will they hand out NMC to everyone since ( probably ) no more expansion so no need to worry

They won’t learn. Jimbo will give one of Oleksiak or Zadorov a full NMC.

I one hundred percent saw the Yandle buyout coming. He got under 30 pts in 56 games. That's around 45 pts in an 82 game season, which isn't enough to run a top PP unit at the AAV he had.

I can see him going to BOS

I love the one sided bias that you see often. I know it’s hard to judge a lot of the time (like me saying Labanc is worth a first give or take + but Arvy going for a 2nd+3rd) but too many analysts or writers can’t see past their opinion and since many are “PoPuLAR” they often don’t “learn”. Some because they just don’t know (and it’s not their fault really) but others because it’s their way or the highway.

Just got home to hear that Yandle was bought out, and a flurry of signings. Wow, we've got a busy offseason!
Here are the signings:

1 year, 750k
Alex Belzile
Montreal Canadiens

Great energy depth guy. Valuable 13th or 14th forward.


3 years, $2,666,667 AAV
Gustav Forsling
Florida Panthers

Heck of a signing especially with his likely increased role for this coming season

Great young 4C on a cheap deal.
