The Leafs choosing Holl definitely is one of the bigger blunders today.

Bean could be the biggest followed by Kahkonen and Nino imo.

It's not great but they now either lose Kerfoot (who they are going to trade anyway if he's not picked) or McCann, who they just got for Hallender, so basically, they'd lose Hallender (which is a good thing).

But it's not as big as leaving Tarasenko exposed come on.

I’ve got low stock in Tarasenko. I understand their desire to move the 7.5m cap hit of glass. They likely got lacklustre trade offers.

I was wrong about that comment as I edited it right before you replied!

But Tarasenko could realistically play 20 games next year none. Similar to Klefbom. I’d take Tarasenko as he’s the most appealing but Dunn and Blais are much safer picks.

I think wouldn’t call the Tarasenko move a blunder.. it’s like sacrificing a piece for a bigger move I guess.

I actually find it so damn funny that we see MATT MARTIN on a protection list.

Lou makes a couple great moves followed by tossing Eberle away (barring side deal lol).

True, I just don't like the idea of exposing a guy who has scored 40 goals 2 (or 3?) years ago. It could turn out really bad (or the right move).

which means cizikas is coming back. If eberle gets taken and Landeskog reaches free agency, I would be fine with losing eberle. That's the only way

Lol I bet cizikas gets like 2.5 x 5 - don’t love it but the strength of the isles is having one of the better C cores in the league so it is what it is
