So, now the the dust has settled (for now), this Kraken team passed on James Van Riemsdyk/Jakub Voracek, Carey Price/Jonathan Drouin, Vladimir Tarasenko, Ryan Johansen/Matt Duchene, and Nino Niederreiter. Their defense isn't bad, but they overpaid for it (Look under "Oleksiak" and "Larson"), and they have a glaring lack of offensive firepower.

They actually have a solid defense. Larsson, oleksiak , Dunn, soucy, and Giordano all have strong defensive impacts. They are going to be a low event team - they can probably beat Vancouver lol

Edmonton's GM is at best overreaching out of desperation and at worst really bad at his job. Paying a 39-year-old goalie (even one coming off of a good year) a multi-year deal and giving an OK Second-line winger 8 years-8! for 5.9 mil a year is just stupid. Poor McDavid.

I'm guessing its 5.9 mill, could be anywhere from 5.5-8 mill lol
