Dont see Tampa giving up 2 firsts to take Johnson and Killorn.. maybe 1 to take TJ but thats it. Killorn can fetch a decent return on his own regardless of Cap issues

I think a 1st and a 2nd is a bit of an overpay for them to take Gardiner. If that's how much they want, I'd rather have them just take Skjei.

TB says no. Killorn having another great [layoff run. He has value. Tyler not going to be dumped for 2 !ST and a 3RD and Joseph. I also find it amusing that Alex and Tyler are cap dumps but they are your first line players.

If LA is going to give up an asset to Seattle, they're going to have them take Maatta, not Wagner.

DeMelo will be protected over Stanley but it doesn't really matter, I agree Appleton will be the guy to go unless a side deal is made.

I cannot imagine Seattle taking Matt Murray. There will be plenty of goalies who are cheaper and better available. I think it likely ends up being Tierney or Logan Brown.

I applaud the effort but also kinda chuckle.
What was methodology for the protection load? Highest paid players get protected? For me they would protect hartman over rask 8 days a week. So you can just update and take rask since your post says you want to. Plus it says to not take ______ even though they are protected players. Makes less sense.

DeMelo is so underappreciated man. He played great for us this year and his absence is the MTL series was quite evident. I also feel like as a smaller market team who has to try extra hard to attract UFA's, protecting the guy you just signed to a 4 year deal makes sense. Not to mention he is someone who genuinely want to be in Winnipeg. I realize that won't be the main factor in the decision but in my mind, DeMelo is a lock. Just my opinion though.

If Arizona protects Kuemper over Hill something is very wrong with that organization.
Hill is younger and is the future. I dont see Arizona making the playoffs next season so might as well move Kuemper and get some value for him before he walks as a UFA.
