Tough to imagine the Sabres trading Eichel to a division rival….

One of the very worst Eichel offers I've seen in a long time. Just brutal.

My counter proposal is:
Tage Thompson, Rasmussen Asplund, Kyle Okposo & pick 32
for Pastrnak

Take out Asplund and it's fair.

Nope
U forgot that Arizona has no 1st this year bc of the penalties against them
So it’s just 31 picks on round1
There are 32picks in the other rounds though

Not even a close comparable trade offer, Pastrnak has accomplished things in his career, is on a steal of a deal, is not disgruntled, is not injured, and the Bruins do not want to "move on from Pastrnak. Oh and this 4 1st end picks for Eichel

Actually…. It’s VERY “comparable”
Bc they’re both dogsh!t offers for great players

Why tf does Reinhart cost more to acquire than Eichel?

That's 4 1st rnd picks for Eichel (2 of which are top 6 players under contract)

And a second line C under contract plus a 1st rnd pick for Rienhart

I'm hard pressed to see them do better

I'd be reaaaaally interested in that conversation between Doug Wilson and MEV which gets Vlasic to waive for the Sabres...

DW: "Hey Pickles -- we wanna mortgage our rebuilding future just to move your contract."
MEV: "How many times must I say I won't waive. And don't call me Pickles."
DW: "You interested in joining Buffa-"
MEV: "Buffalo?!?! Say no more -- I waive!!"

I guess it would much better (weather wise) to fumble out the last 5 years in SJ over Buffalo

If you prefer Bruins will hang onto the 2 prospects and toss you 2 - 30ish picks instead

If you swap the first round pick with a second round pick in the trade with the Flames instead, you’ve got a deal

No way are we getting rid of our 22 1rst, for anyone, esp. not to bury Vlasic.

That would still be a poor return
No way it gets Eichel
For a team like Boston (or Toronto, or Montreal) to get him,
I think you’ll have to out bud everyone else significantly
And offers like you made just won’t even come close

Just bc someone was drafted in the 1st round a few years ago,
it doesn’t mean they still have “1st round value” NOW

And late 1sts don’t have much value either (when it comes to getting players like Eichel)

You’re just WAY off dude

Plus…. I doubt the Sabres will trade him to a rival like Boston
Very unlikely imo
