1. Feel like Buffalo can probably get a better package than that with some top tier prospects. McMichael and Alexeyev will likely be good NHLers, but they could probably land a future star for Eichel.
2. Kuznetsov sure as hell ain't waiving his modified NTC to go to Buffalo.

Nah man. I've had Capitals fans on here tell me that McMicheal is an "A+ prospect that's going to be a stud" some even said he was as valuable as Lafreniere because in McMicheal's draft +1 season he scored slightly under the pace of what Lafreniere did in Lafreniere's draft eligible season.

I'm impressed to see a Caps fan like you realize what he really is and not overhype him off 1 junior season.

Not happening. No way Caps are in on Eichel. They might have done some due diligence but BMac has too many things to do otherwise and emptying the scarce prospect pool ain't the best idea. This is something Dan Snyder would do, not the Caps who are a much more competent organization.

Exactly the impression I've had, most Caps fans are in over their heads about CMC to a point of no return.

If this guy doesn't translate great to the NHL I feel a huge part of your fanbase will get depression-like symptoms and like you said there's no way on earth anyone with talent lifts a NTC/NMC to go where players go to die. @staytru20

I realise this isnt the point of the post but I keep seeing the same trade. I promise you Ottawa isnt interested in Kempny. Especially if they have to pay you for him. Stop mock trading him to the Sens.

I'd be ecstatic if McM turned out to be a star, but I think the realistic ceiling for him is probably a pretty good 2C. I think every fan base overhypes their top prospect, though.

Oof, what a bust.

His stat line in the AHL is literally the complete opposite from what you want from your prospect, soon enough he'll be gone and you won't even remember he's ever existed.
I'm a Habs fan so I know what I say when I talk about first round busts.

I'm a huge Caps fan and tbh I don't think McMichael has what it takes to be a star or even top3 on a team. I see him at most being a James Neal type of player - a servicable second line scorer. He has a scoring touch, but not much else.
