Oilers aren’t protecting Klef is career over
Larsson is close to signing and will require that protection spot
Even if and it’s a big if Klefs career isn’t over Seattle’s not picking a guy they’d have zero status of what his playing future is

Are you implying they want to protect compher to such an extent they'll let go a quality young asset in jost and also a mid 1st developing well + a 2nd

Definitely, but most teams would probably choose to take Fabbro and be done with it. He specified that it was for pushing Ingram on them (which no team should be unhappy about anyway), so I was responding to that part. And even though he's struggled the last 1 1/2 season, I really don't feel like RyJo is burnt toast or anything. I think he still has some good hockey left at 28. Just seems like an awful lot to pay to give them a potentially good player and a good prospect. Probably didn;t phrase it well enough.

Not sure PHI gives up that for SEA choice. Theyll leave Patrick, NAK, JVR, Voracek, Hagg and Braun exposed, and to be fair by giving up Hagg, Patrick and a 2nd, what are they protecting?

JVR? Philly would be more than happy for SEA to take him.
